IS IT WORTH THE FIGHT?

This all depends on a few things, the first thing is whether or not you want the ticket to appear on your motor vehicle record. In most cases a ticket that appears on your motor vehicle record affects your insurance rates. Second, a ticket on your motor vehicle record could keep you from getting a job which requires you to use a company vehicle.

Oklahoma City Municipal Court

The City of Oklahoma City provides its speed limit violators with the option of taking a driver improvement course to keep their ticket off of their motor vehicle record. This is a great option for people who only want to keep the ticket off of their record and not fight the ticket totally. Mr. Hosty can help you navigate this process. A list of approved driving schools can be found here. You take this option once every three years. This only applies to Class D Licenses. This does not apply to commercial drivers licenses (CDL).

The SECOND option you have is a non-jury trial.

The THIRD option is a plea negotiation.

Other Municipal Courts

Each municipal Court has their own unique and distinct manner and rules to handle their cases. At the Hosty Law Office we are experts in maximizing your results.
